Decolonizing knowledge, Dr. Shose Kessi

The impact of colonialisation, how it has shaped contemporary society, how do we reproduce that history, how do we resist and provide alternatives has been discussed here by Dr. Shose Kessi. I leant the range of policies throughout racial, political, spacial, labor restrictions, education and social  segregation. What stands out for me was her saying where she mentioned that decolonial framework for research and advocacy on sexuality and sexually related violence must acknowledged and disrupt the legacies of racism,  capitalism and hetero patriarchy and how they interact it must understand and disrupt the world of science and legitimizing race, gender and class hierarchies understand and disrupt the nation state and the laws and policies that sustain it.
