What stands out to me from my conversation is the concept of indigenous ways of knowing, teaching, and being. It is a concept of learning where we are all interconnected and have reciprocal relationships with one another. It is a concept of responsibility, respect and accountability for the relationships we create. It is also a concept of understanding that every experience is unique and has its own points of light, both in the past and in the future. This concept has really resonated with me and is something that I will take away from this experience.
